Are there any pre-requisites to enrol in the Certificate?

Yes. The first step is to enrol in our online self-care course. This can be done at your own pace and serves as a wonderful introduction to Kinesiology. This course lays the foundation for what you'll learn in your Certifcate and Diploma studies and will therefore be counted as a credit – with the cost deducted from your Certificate investment.

How long does the Certificate take?

If you choose to study the ICPKP Certificate with us at The Nidana Collective Kinesiology Academy, you can study part-time and be an internationally certified and practising Kinesiologist within a year.

This includes a mandatory 50 hours of supervised practice experience, ensuring you are not just certified, but confident and competent. Within a year you can begin working with your own clients, be your own boss and start building a successful and rewarding business.

How long does the Diploma take?

18 Months (part-time, inclusive of Certificate)

Once I pass my Certificate can I start seeing my own clients?

Yes. On successful completion of your PKP Certificate classes and assessment criteria (including first aid) you will be eligible to take out the required professional insurance. Once you have that, you are ready to go. As part of your professional qualification we cover all the requirements of what you will need and guide you through the various options for professional insurance. And because we are accredited to teach an international certification, you are eligible to practice across the world.

What is the time commitment of the Certificate?

The professional certificate is taught in 12 modules. Each module is covered in a four-day class, scheduled once a month. Each four-day class runs from a Friday through to Monday and is a combination of group virtual classes, pre-recorded videos and face-to-face time. The proportion of each can vary pending the module topic.

For each module you will:

1. Attend virtual classes/watch recorded videos

2. Attend face-to-face classes

3. Complete a workbook

4. Pass an online open book test – taken in between classes.

Between classes/modules, you will need to practise techniques and skills to embed your learnings.

Student Clinic: Once all 12 modules are completed, all of our students are required to complete 50 hours of supervised student clinic. This is usually done in three two-day blocks.
